The Delhi Police in two drug busts since 2 October – including what it says is the biggest haul ever – has seized 768 kilos of cocaine worth 7,000 crore. A Dubai-based cartel is thought to be behind the operation and seven people have been arrested thus far with another dozen under the scanner.

The Delhi Police has issued look-out circulars to at least three people in connection with the seizure of 200 kg cocaine from Ramesh Nagar area of West Delhi, officials said on Friday. The police suspect that the drug syndicate was operating from abroad.

Delhi Police's special cell uncovered a cocaine ring, recovering drugs worth Rs 2,400 crore in a west Delhi raid. This adds to an earlier haul valued at over Rs 6,500 crore. The network involved UK and Dubai-based operatives.

This is the second major drug haul in a week in the national capital and suspected to be linked to the earlier incident.
