"The Brutalist" won for cinematography and score, "Wicked" for costume and production design, and "Dune: Part Two" for VFX and sound. But "Flow" became the biggest indie winner for animated feature.

"Dune: Part Two" featuring Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet received six nominations and was in running for the night's biggest prize – best picture.

*The other big Hollywood movie up for Best Picture this year is Wicked, which actually made slightly more money than Dune: Part Two at the box office. I'd be fine with that winning, too, but we'll tackle one Hollywood prejudice at a time: Academy votes do love their award-winning movies big and ponderous.
