Neighbours gets goal, assist for St. Louis; Washington loses 2nd straight in regulation for 1st time since mid-December

Philip Broberg scored twice to help the St. Louis Blues beat the Washington Capitals 5-2 on Thursday night, inching closer to the final playoff spot in the Western Conference and handing the top team in the East a rare second loss in a row.

The Blues won 35 of 53 face-offs in the game, or a whopping 66 percent, led by Radek Faksa (eight of 11, 73 percent), Schenn (seven of 10, 70 percent), Thomas (13 of 21, 62 percent) and Oskar Sundqvist (six of 10, 60 percent). Nathan Walker also won a draw.
