Texas hosts Georgia as the two programs meet for the first time as SEC opponents. Quinn Ewars and the Texas offense got a few first downs but ultimately couldn't get into Georgia territory. On third-and-nine, Georgia did an effective job with its man-to-man defense, forcing Ewars to throw it away. Both offenses stalled on their opening possessions.

Trevor Etienne ran for three touchdowns, the first two set up by cornerback Daylen Everette’s takeaways, and fifth-ranked Georgia went on to beat Quinn Ewers and No. 1 Texas 30-15.

Georgia entered Saturday night’s showdown with Texas as an underdog for the first time in 50 games and it’ll leave the Lone Star State with a win over the nation’s No. 1 team. Georgia jumped out to a 23-0 lead inside Darrell K Royal Stadium and it outlasted the Longhorns 30-15.
