Nikola Jokic had a career-best 19 assists, while adding 18 points and nine rebounds, Aaron Gordon scored 25 points and the Denver Nuggets defeated the Indiana Pacers 125-116 on Monday night.

Jokic set a career-high in assists with 19 as the Nuggets won for the 10th time in their last 11 games with a 125-116 victory over the Pacers. Asked if he still feels the same way about the joy of passing in relation to scoring, he said after the win, “Of course. It’s an easy question.” He was not aware of the new career record, however.

Over the weekend, a high-energy Lakers defense fronted Nikola Jokic, doubled him when he got the ball, and limited a low-energy version of the three-time MVP to seven shots in a Nuggets loss. Monday night, Jokic looked like his vintage self, carving up the Pacers' more traditional defense with a career-high 19 assists in a 125-116 Denver win.
