Even with more collegiate experience than the average rookie, Tyler Kolek knows what he doesn’t know about the NBA game and where he is starting on the learning curve. So when the Knicks’ first-year point guard was asked about the adjustment, he pointed to the help he is getting from the veterans.

The Knicks are loaded at point guard, with captain Jalen Brunson the team’s most important player and emotional leader. After that, Miles McBride and Cameron Payne follow on the depth chart. But Kolek has a chance to impress during camp and then could spend time with the Westchester Knicks, the team’s G League franchise.

Between McBride's shooting and Kolek's court vision, both players could be included in the rotation - offering quality depth behind superstar Brunson.
