Luxury fashion house Prada and commercial space company Axiom Space have unveiled the designs for a spacesuit that will be worn on the moon as early as 2026.

Prada and Axiom Space unveil the final version of their spacesuit, which astronauts will wear during NASA's Artemis III 2026 moon landing.

The new spacesuits that will be worn for NASA’s Artemis III moon mission have been announced, with the luxury fashion company Prada partnering with Axiom Space to complete the suits.

Last October, Axiom Space and Prada partnered to create a new spacesuit for NASA's Artemis III mission — it's first crewed venture to the moon since Apollo 17 in 1972. One year later, the pair has revealed a first look at the Axiom Extravehicular Mobility Unit (AxEMU) spacesuit during Milan's International Astronautical Congress.

The suits will be used for NASA’s Artemis III mission, marking humankind’s first return to the moon since 1972. It will see the first woman and the first person of color walk on the moon.
