The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is the latest Florida agency to announce plans to implement the name "Gulf of America."

State lawmakers, who will start the annual legislative session Tuesday, also have filed bills to carry out Trump's directions.

Making moves to reopen Apalachicola oyster beds, identifying distinction for the Florida bass, approving rule revisions for hunt preserves and game farms, and announcing support for the Gulf of America are just a few policies that have kept the state's FWC commission busy.
