Former Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin has advanced to the final of the Pan Pacific Open with a 6-4, 6-4 win over ninth-seeded Katie Boulter.

Organisers confirm the world No 26 will arrive on Monday to play Mei Yamaguchi of Japan in the opening round as list of qualifiers are known.

Sofia Kenin is vying for her first WTA title of the year at the Tokyo Open. If she is healthy, she will face Qinwen Zheng in the final.
