Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs announced she has signed an executive order directing multiple agencies to create a joint task force, expanding security in the state's four border counties.

Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs on Tuesday signed an executive order she said will direct three state departments to create a joint task force to expand border security in the four border counties including Yuma.

The executive order states that the Arizona departments of public safety, homeland security and emergency affairs shall create a border task force.
