Chinese autonomous driving technology firm Pony.ai announced at the end of last week it had filed for initial public offering (IPO) in the US, as it looks for further funding to expand its robotaxi fleet in China.

China-based autonomous driving firm Pony AI, backed by automaker Toyota , filed for an initial public offering in the U.S. on Thursday, in another sign of growing investor interest in new listings and easing regulatory pressures.

The self-driving startup didn’t say how many shares it would list or give an anticipated price range in a filing with the SEC.
