The stock market is up, with the S&P 500 and Dow hitting records. The S&P 500 advanced 0.72%, while the Nasdaq Composite climbed 0.87%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average grew by 0.36%, and the Russell 2000 Index rose 0.

Today, shares of SOFI surged another 11% after the company announced an expansion of their loan platform business. Headlines ahead of the market open on Monday detailed a new $2 billion loan platform deal agreement with Fortress Investment Group.
